Audit & Statutory Accounts

What is an Audit?

In very simple terms an audit is an examination, by an independent accountant, of the financial information prepared by a client in order to verify its authenticity and accuracy, to express an opinion as to whether the financial statements express a ‘true and fair view’.

The annual audit in Ireland is a legal requirement for all limited companies, except for those small companies who have availed of audit exemption. We can provide an annual audit of your company accounts. An audit gives us an ideal opportunity to look inside your business and see what makes it tick. We can then use this knowledge to work with you to help you get the most from your business.

All limited companies in Ireland are obliged to prepare statutory financial statements, regardless of the statutory requirement to have an annual audit. We will assist your company with the preparation of the statutory financial statements and ensure the financial statements comply with the relevant accounting standards and Irish company law.
